HashBackup uses a simple command structure:
$ hb command options
The main command is hb, with subcommands similar to Subversion or Mercurial, followed by options and pathnames. The advantage of this single file executable install is that your hard drive isn't littered with many HashBackup commands and libraries, and in most cases you don't have to worry about whether you have the right version of system files or shared libraries installed on your computer. In a recovery situation, only a minimal system install is needed to do restores.
